Terms of Service

Welcome to LekkaLocal. By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. The Service

LekkaLocal provides a digital, subscription-based pass that grants users access to exclusive discounts and perks at participating local businesses within the Oudtshoorn area.

2. Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions

LekkaLocal is strictly designed for residents and patrons within our designated operating areas.

• The app utilizes your device's GPS location to verify you are within the active region before allowing subscription access.
• We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or deny access to the Service if you are outside the geofenced service area.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

• Processing: LekkaLocal is a subscription service billed monthly or annually. All payments are processed securely by your device's native app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellations and Refunds: Because payments are handled by Apple and Google, you must manage your subscription and cancellations directly through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. MundusMK (Pty) Ltd cannot directly cancel your subscription or issue refunds.

4. Using Your Digital Pass

• Non-Transferable: Your LekkaLocal digital pass and its rotating QR code are tied to your personal account. You may not share, screenshot, or transfer your pass to another individual.
• Merchant Discretion: Discounts are provided directly by the participating merchants. While we strive to ensure a seamless experience, merchants reserve the right to refuse service, modify their specific perks, or verify your identity if fraud is suspected.
• System Abuse: Attempting to bypass the location lock, reverse-engineer the QR code system, or use a single pass for multiple people will result in immediate account termination without a refund.

5. Limitation of Liability

MundusMK (Pty) Ltd acts as a digital bridge between you and local businesses. We are not liable for the quality of goods or services provided by merchants, nor are we responsible if a merchant permanently closes or withdraws from the LekkaLocal program.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of South Africa. MundusMK (Pty) Ltd and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
